Maureen Ekwebelem is a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medicine.She earned her Master of Science in Data Science from Fordham University, specializing in Machine Learning and AI, and holds a B.S. in Human Development with a minor in Global Health from Cornell University. She also completed a post-baccalaureate in sciences at Fordham University.
With eight years of experience, Maureen has worked on research spanning palliative care, psychiatry, neural data analysis, global health, and implementation science- bringing a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative methods. She currently supports Dr. Daniel Shalev’s research, managing IRB coordination and contributing to studies focused on improving patient-centered care. Her interests lie at the intersection of research, data science, and health equity.
