Catherine Samaniego is a first-year medical student at New York Medical College with a strong interest in palliative care, psychiatry, and improving quality of life for patients with serious illness. She previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she supported clinical trials in neurodegenerative disease, brain tumors, and neuroendocrine disorders, alongside health equity initiatives in pediatric brain tumor research.
