Alexander Jordan, MD, is a geriatrician and palliative medicine physician at Weill Cornell Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency in the Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, followed by an Integrated Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. His research focuses on supporting older adults living with substance use disorder and exploring the intersection of palliative care and addiction medicine. He also serves as a mentor and volunteer expert witness for Medical Justice Alliance (MJA), a national organization that advocates for compassionate release for incarcerated patients.
